OurSong: The Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Chorus will open the Atlanta Pride Festival and celebrate our nation’s independence with a performance of the "Star Spangled Banner" at the Atlanta Pride Festival’s Bud Light Stage! 

We are scheduled to perform just after 5:45 pm.  Come join us for this special Fourth of July Pride Kick-Off!

The Atlanta Civic Center is located at 395 Piedmont at Ralph McGill Blvd. at the MARTA Civic Center station.  The Bud Light stage is at the north east side of the festival on Pine Street.

OurSong: The Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Chorus and the Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus (AGMC) will preview their GALA Festival performances for the public on Thursday, July 10, at 8:00 PM in the sanctuary of First Metropolitan Community Church (MCC). The First MCC is located at 1379 Tullie Road, Atlanta, GA 30329 (near the intersection of North Druid Hills Road and I-85). Admission is free and the concert is open to the public. Each performance will be approximately 30 minutes in length.

An offering will be taken to support the mission of First Metropolitan Community Church, the AGMC’s home for rehearsals and office space.

The GALA Festival is a quadrennial gathering of GLBT choral groups from around the world and will be in held in Miami, Florida from July 13-19.

 
     
 
 

OurSong to Appear at GALA 2008 Miami
 

 
 

OurSong will travel to Miami in July for GALA Choruses Festival 2008! OurSong will meet 7,000 other GLBT folks to create music in the new Carnival Center for the Performing Arts.

OurSong performance slot is Sunday, July 13th at 9:15pm in the Ziff Ballet Opera House at the Carnival Center for the Performing Arts.  For more information on GALA Festival 2008, visit the GALA Choruses website at www.galachoruses.org
